Hi,

I have thousands of wav files on one of my hard drives, all are 44.1KHz
CD files read with EAC on PC.Some of these files will not play back
correctly on AmigaAmp.When such file is opened, I hear a snap in
the speakers, and the time/seek indicators bounce wildly.

Playing back the same file on players like AMP and Songplayer works fine.
Ok, I thought maybe the file-header was screwed up so I read the file
in Samplitude Opus and saved it as wav with a new name.same happens.
If I cut out just the first few MB`s of the file and save it, it wont play,
so I guess the trouble lies in the beginning of the file.If I save it as
AIFF, it plays fine! will this be fixed, or should I convert the whole lot
to AIFF?

I use the latest AmigaAMP+AmigaOS3.9 under latest WinUAE.

Ah, got it.

The detection routine thinks it's an MP3 file and so the player treats it as such. I've corrected that for the next coming release.
